In this step you'll learn about bi-color lights and single-color lights. Bi-color lights are most valuable for their flexibility to match the color of existing white light sources in an environment you can't control, while single-color lights are most valuable for higher total output levels. Bi-color lights can be used as soft-light sources and are constrained by their limited ability to track what's known as the Planckian curve. Single-color lights can output pleasant-looking soft light but cannot be easily shaped or used with hard-light modifiers. Lastly, it's important to consider the environment and location when deciding which LED light would be best for your production.
