In this presentation, Jadin Papito will explain the history and definition of the Golden Ratio, how it was used in art during the Renaissance era, and how famous artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci used it in their artwork. The Golden Ratio is an irrational number approximately 1.618 which is prevalent in nature, art, architecture and design. It is also known as the Golden Mean, Golden Section, or Divine Proportion.
