The Lean Startup is an approach coined by Eric Ries to build companies and launch products quicker and more in line with customer needs. It eliminates long development times and large amounts of funding to launch a company. The Lean Startup involves the company building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to get customer feedback and learn what customers want. The company then uses the feedback to decide whether to continue to build a product, tweak the product, or pivot in a different direction. This cycle is called the build measure learn feedback loop.
